Your Role

As our Head of Compliance and Ethics, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a best-in-class compliance program that aligns with our company's vision and values. This senior role demands a visionary leader with exceptional ethical judgment who can inspire, develop, and implement a holistic corporate compliance framework in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading our corporate compliance arrangements with accountability to define and implement the corporate compliance strategy and agenda.
  • Designing new operational strategies and an appropriate compliance policy framework, aligned to our Code of Conduct, using a risk-based approach to identify, prioritize, and implement effective solutions.
  • Delivering and maintaining adequate compliance policies, procedures, and arrangements, ensuring our compliance with our legal and ethical compliance obligations while supporting the delivery and commercial functions with day-to-day ethics and compliance queries and issues.
  • Communicating and influencing business culture; ensuring that all employees understand and adhere to our compliance policies and procedures.
  • Responsibility for managing the corporate compliance team, including budget responsibility.
  • Providing expert guidance and training to internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
  • Regularly reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in a lead compliance role, ideally within the disaster restoration and remediation industry.
  • Certified International Corporate Compliance and Ethics Professional preferred.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, including industry-specific regulations and laws.
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively at the executive and board level.
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic mindset, and excellent analytical skills.
  • Exceptional project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
