Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and trailers to meet planned maintenance schedules.

• Complete service and inspection records, defect reports, and associated paperwork to comply with regulatory requirements.

• Prepare vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first-time pass.

• Conduct ad-hoc vehicle repairs, investigate, and rectify vehicle defects.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid LGV C&E license (class one) and relevant vocational training.

• Possess knowledge of automotive equipment and testing/troubleshooting equipment.

• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components.

• Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Valid driving license.
