We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset & Property Services Manager to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the management and delivery of a capital/planned investment programme for our property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the development and implementation of strategies, procedures, and processes related to key service areas such as major/planned works, aids and adaptations, damp and mould.
- Manage the procurement process for all aspects of a programme, including works, consultancy, and legal services.
- Monitor and report on the performance of multi-discipline projects within a programme, including budgets and performance.
- Analyze complex performance information, identifying trends and implementing changes to address areas of weakness.
Requirements:
- Experience in the preparation of drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities, schedules of rates, types of agreements, and tendering contracts.
- Experience of procuring, managing, and delivering projects with a value in excess of £5m, including devolved budgets.
- Contract dispute and resolution experience, including various forms of contract.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent programme/project management skills and commercial awareness.
- Building legislation knowledge, including Planning, Building regulations, CDM, Health & Safety Legislation, and Party Wall Act.
- A strong knowledge and demonstrable experience of the relevant EU procurement legislation.
