About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Health and Safety Consultant to join our team at Brandon James. As a Senior Health and Safety Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's safety initiatives and providing expert guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site health and safety audits, inspections, and accident investigations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Advise clients on project team capabilities and management, providing comprehensive H&S guidance, training, and support to ensure high H&S standards.
  • Manage project administration, including the creation of Health and Safety Files, and deliver key H&S services such as Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments, audits, and training.
  • Ensure smooth progression of client matters, responding promptly to queries and proposing service improvements to the Directors.
  • Assist with the completion of PQQ/tender documents and build strong working relationships through effective communication.
Requirements
  • BPSS clearance
  • Proven experience in a consultancy setting
  • A minimum of TechIOSH status, with a preference for candidates working towards or holding CertIOSH
  • IMaPS or CMaPS status is an added advantage
  • 5+ years of experience in a construction-related health and safety role
  • Demonstrable experience providing client-side health and safety services within the construction or property sectors
  • Familiarity with CDM Regulations and experience in roles such as PD, CDM Coordinator, or Health and Safety Advisor/Manager
  • Experience with large-scale, complex projects in the UK
  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK
