As a Theatre Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring that we deliver exceptional patient care and provide a high-quality service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Lead a team of highly qualified and non-qualified practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day running of the Theatre department, including workload and staffing costs, to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Patient Care: Ensure that we deliver excellent patient care, providing a safe and supportive environment for our patients to receive treatment.
- Customer Service: Provide great customer service to all visitors to the Theatre department, ensuring that they receive a high-quality service and are treated with respect and dignity.
- Compliance: Ensure that we comply with both national and local guidance, including health and safety regulations and clinical governance policies.
- Qualifications: A qualified practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration and a mentorship qualification.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience of managing a team, preferably in a Theatre or healthcare setting.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
