Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain domestic ventilation systems, including Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPS), Heat Recovery Units (HRU), and Passive Input Ventilation (PIV), in social housing and private properties.
  • Conduct basic mould treatment and carry out any necessary repairs and decoration.
  • Perform inspections, repairs, and replacements (IRR) of existing ventilation products, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all clients are satisfied with the work carried out.
  • Maintain stock levels, ensuring the necessary equipment and products are available to complete each job.
  • Ensure that vehicles, tools, and kits are well-maintained and safe to use.
  • Complete necessary documentation, such as fit sheets, before and after photographs, and electrical certifications.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures, using provided risk assessments and method statements.
  • Work closely with the scheduling team to manage the status of jobs and complete tasks within specified timelines.
Requirements:
  • Competent in electrical installations, with an 18 Edition Qualification.
  • Qualified with a Level 2 or 3 Diploma and NVQ in Electrical Installation, with AM2 certification.
  • Good general trade skills, particularly in ventilation fan installation (PPS, PIV, HRU systems).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to getting the job done.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Basic IT skills, with the ability to use tablets or computers.
  • General awareness of health and safety practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving business needs.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
