Department Overview

The Contracts & Settlements department plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of E1 EDF Trading Ltd's commercial activities. We manage a high volume of transactions across diverse markets, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency and mitigate risk.

Position Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of trades in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all required trades are reported within regulatory deadlines, adhering to EMIR, REMIT, and MiFID guidelines.
  • Contribute to a high-performing team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Monitor trade submission error logs, conduct thorough analysis, and identify root causes.
  • Work closely with technical partners to resolve reporting issues and implement solutions.
  • Liaise with various teams to address exceptions and ensure timely resolution.
  • Test transaction reporting data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of reporting enhancements, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate current processes, identifying areas for improvement and streamlining workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking a Senior Analyst with 3+ years of experience in regulatory reporting operations or Middle/Back office operations within the Energy Markets sector. A strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes and relevant regulations is essential.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in EMIR, REMIT, and MiFID regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of operations within the Energy Markets.
  • Experience with trade lifecycle processes.
  • Analytical skills for effective problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
  • Exposure to system implementation and development.

  • Degree level education or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English with clear written and verbal communication abilities.
