About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide patient care and support
  • Assist with daily tasks such as washing, dressing, and feeding patients
  • Take patients' physiological observations and report any concerns to the nursing team
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Person Specification

We are looking for a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum level 1 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Basic education GCSE Grades A-C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting (desirable)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
  • Self-motivation and flexibility
