About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Operations Specialist to join our team at Allica Bank. As a key member of our Finance & Treasury function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our treasury activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day treasury operations support, including reporting, reconciliation, settlements, payments processing, and bank account signatories.
  • Assist in projects involving new products or partnerships from the treasury operations perspective.
  • Implement processes, procedures, and reporting as per business needs, driving continuous process change.
  • Manage and maintain the bank's Treasury Management System, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Reconcile derivative valuations and analyze mark-to-market movements.
  • Prepare month-end statements, post fees and interest, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Collateral management reconciliation activities, including agreement of margin calls, collateral interest, and coupons.
  • Perform daily payments, ensuring all treasury payments are made accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and report counterparty credit risk to ensure treasury remains within policy.
  • Manage collateral posting and exchange with the Bank of England, including testing.
  • Liaise with external counterparts for smooth transactions and issue resolution.
  • Monitor bank counterparty exposures and dealer mandates against policy limits.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of treasury settlement processes and experience with treasury transactions.
  • Experience with using a treasury management system.
  • Ability to perform control checks for numbers accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills developed from a finance-based background.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with continuous process change, implementing processes, procedures, and reporting as per business needs.
