Deputy Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team at a leading care specialist in Ashford, Kent. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting individuals with complex needs and a proven track record of leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of support staff to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement effective training and coaching programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Service Leadership Team to oversee the smooth running of the service, including rostering, support plans, staff deployment, and budget management.
  • Act as a role model and leader in the delivery of active support, empowering individuals to have active and fulfilling lives aligned with their needs and aspirations.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including those with self-harm, sexually harmful behaviors, attachment disorders, and risk of child sexual exploitation.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
