Deputy Care Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Irise Personnel Ltd in Ashford. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager in overseeing the care and development of children and young people.

About the Role:

As a Deputy Care Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading with Heart: Supporting the Registered Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people.
  • Inspiring Excellence: Managing and motivating a team of care workers to deliver exceptional care and support.
  • Keeping it Running Smoothly: Ensuring all policies and procedures are followed, and assisting with administrative tasks.
  • Growing Together: Participating in ongoing staff training and development sessions.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for an individual with:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to care.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children in a residential setting.
  • A valid driver's license.
