Technical Director Opportunity

Shillito Executive Search is proud to be working with a leading specialist engineering firm based in Scunthorpe, who are seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to join their senior leadership team.

This is a key position within the business, reporting directly to the Managing Director, and will play a crucial role in shaping the technical team for the future.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project-based work and technical design, with experience in the grain handling industry or related sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, or process engineering.

As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of around 5 people, and will be expected to travel to other sites, as well as regional and national locations, to meet with colleagues and customers.

We are looking for a strong leader who can drive and shape the technical team, with a focus on delivering strong, sustainable performance across a range of defined indicators.

The Technical Director will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, and will have a deep understanding of our customers' needs and how our products and services can meet these in each unique situation.
