About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Spares Tendering Contracts Administrator to join our team at MTrec Ltd Technical. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with customers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the tendering process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with customers to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery of spares.
  • Calculate estimated works costs based on price lists, estimates, and previous cost performance to ensure accurate quotations.
  • Apply established rules for pricing associated with spares tenders to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Liaise with sales team colleagues to determine the price to be quoted when established rules cannot be applied.
  • Seek approval to quote when the quotation value exceeds the limits of authority.
  • Create sales quotations within the ERP system and maintain the integrity of information.
  • Review and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with customers, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Convert sales quotations to customer orders, perform contract reviews, and allocate contract requirements.
  • Monitor customer orders during the life of the contract and liaise with customers on any contract amendments, costs, or implications.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Spares Tendering Contracts Administrator with a strong background in commercial terms and conditions of business. You will have a recognised engineering qualification, ideally mechanical, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also have a flexible attitude, a willingness to take on new tasks, and a high standard of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.
