Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Companion to join our team at Be Caring. As a Care Companion, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care that respects individuals' dignity and promotes their independence.
- Support individuals to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals as needed.
- Connect individuals to their communities, accessing local support and services.
- Deliver personalized care through individual choice and control.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and professionals, documenting and reporting information as required.
Requirements:
- Patience, empathy, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including late shifts and alternate weekends.
- Basic life support and infection prevention and control training.
