About the Position
TPF Recruitment is on the lookout for a Personal Tax Consultant to become a vital member of a vibrant team in the Farnham vicinity. You will play a key role in a collaborative environment, overseeing a portfolio of personal tax clients while delivering expert tax guidance.

Key Duties
  • Overseeing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring adherence to HM Revenue & Customs regulations and internal timelines
  • Preparing and processing tax returns and P11Ds based on information provided by clients
  • Calculating and advising on tax obligations and payment deadlines
  • Addressing client inquiries and offering ad-hoc advice
  • Invoicing personal portfolio clients upon completion of assignments
  • Managing client correspondence, phone communications, and meetings
  • Assisting partners and team members with technical tax inquiries
  • Supporting junior colleagues as required
  • Drafting technical reports related to income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
  • Handling HMRC correspondence, phone calls, and inquiries
  • Providing general assistance to the tax team

Qualifications
  • Experience in a private client tax environment
  • Preferably ATT qualified
  • Self-motivated with strong resilience and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proficient IT skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
  • Positive, proactive, and commercially aware
  • Confident, tactful, and discreet
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently
