Senior Medical Advisor Lung Cancer

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Medical Advisor for Oncology (Lung Cancer) to join our team.

The Senior Medical Advisor will report to the UK Oncology Medical Lead (Lung Cancer) and will be a key member of the cross-functional therapy area team involved in the delivery of value through medical input and leadership to strategy and activities for the benefit of patients and healthcare professionals.

We are dedicated to addressing and solving some of the most important unmet medical needs across the entire patient pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain awareness of the latest scientific and clinical advances in Lung Cancer through actively engaging with key clinicians and academics.
  • Build and maintain a good understanding of NHS issues affecting the therapy area, including NHS priorities and market access issues or barriers.
  • Contribute to the local evidence generation plan, identify data gaps and propose mechanisms to fill them.
  • Involvement in the development of the medical affairs strategy for the Lung Cancer therapy area.
  • Lead and collaborate on projects and activities in support of the medical plan, including clinical advisory board meetings.
  • Collaborate with Market Access colleagues providing medical expertise on Health Technology Appraisal submission(s).

Requirements:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated experiences in leading clinical/scientific programs with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Experience supporting Health Technology Appraisal Submissions.
