Job Opportunity:
Fraser Dove International is partnering with a leading life sciences organization to find an experienced Senior Medical Advisor to drive medical input and strategy for their oncology portfolio, focusing on lung, bladder, and prostate cancer.
About the Role:
The Senior Medical Advisor will be responsible for building and maintaining awareness of the latest scientific and clinical advances in lung cancer, contributing to the local evidence generation plan, and leading and collaborating on projects and activities in support of the medical plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a good understanding of NHS issues affecting the therapy area, including NHS priorities and market access issues or barriers.
- Involvement in the development of the medical affairs strategy for the lung cancer therapy area.
- Collaborate with Market Access colleagues, providing medical expertise on Health Technology Appraisal submissions.
- Review materials and activities as a final signatory.
- Actively engage with key clinicians and academics to stay updated on the latest scientific and clinical advances.
- Lead clinical advisory board meetings.
- Support the medical plan by collaborating on various projects and activities.
Requirements:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Good understanding of ABPI Code of Practice.
- Ability to learn quickly, build, and maintain relationships.
- Strong project management skills and demonstrated experiences in leading clinical/scientific programs with a high degree of autonomy.
- ABPI code final signatory status (essential for the Bladder Cancer position).
- Experience supporting Health Technology Appraisal Submissions.
- Strong clinical background and/or experience in lung cancer.
- GMC registered physician or pharmacist registered in the UK.
