Key Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
To oversee the building maintenance operatives, ensuring efficient and safe working practices in line with our health and safety policies. Collaborate with responsive repairs surveyors to deliver an effective repairs service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise building maintenance operatives to optimize resource utilization and advise repairs managers on resource requirements for individual jobs.
- Ensure all work is completed within the priority period and to a high standard.
- Pre-inspect work to identify content, duration, and materials required, and liaise with surveyors to clarify before work commences, reducing failure to complete.
- Produce detailed schedules of works and specify job requirements to enable the in-house workforce to complete the tasks.
- Pre-order non-stock materials and stock materials for larger or more complicated works, ensuring they are available for collection or delivery on the day the work commences.
Requirements:
- You should be available to start immediately or at short notice.
- You should have the right to work in the U.K.
