Job Title: E-Learning Technology Advisor

We are seeking an ambitious E-Learning Technology Advisor to join our Centre for Learning Access and Student Success (CLASS) at the University of Hertfordshire. As part of our Technology Enhanced Learning and Digital Skills team, you will support the effective application of technologies across a diverse range of academic programmes, including those that are taught online, as well as on-campus.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide high-quality frontline support to academic colleagues seeking guidance on the best practice use of StudyNet (Canvas) and integrated technologies.
  2. Support the delivery of TEL and Digital Skills training sessions, including workshops, drop-ins, and bespoke sessions for small or large groups and individuals.
  3. Responsible for the collection and management of data relating to training and feedback.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for technology in higher education and experience in providing excellent frontline technical support. They will also have experience in facilitating or assisting in the delivery of training sessions and the development of guidance materials. Above all, they will be committed to delivering an excellent staff and student experience.

A minimum of a degree or equivalent in Educational Technology, Information Technology, Multimedia or a related subject; and/or experience of doing a similar job, ideally in an academic institution.
