Key Responsibilities:

As a Sales Engineering Specialist within the BES Asset Reliability sales team, you will collaborate with leading technical experts, chartered engineers, and seasoned project managers to ensure that our final proposals meet the necessary scoring criteria consistently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating, drafting, and enhancing detailed PQQ/ITT responses that align with specification requirements while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Managing PQQ and ITT responses in a centralized repository and ensuring that Lessons Learned activities are conducted on Tenders.
  • Integrating local insights, evidence, and research to tailor bids for specific audiences, supported by an evidence base and innovative strategies as advised by organizational experts and best practices.
  • Providing structured formats and text for contributions from others, ensuring quality assurance, consistency, and grammatical accuracy, while offering constructive feedback to obtain meaningful and concise information.
  • Submitting bids for internal review to comply with quality assurance and governance protocols.
  • Overseeing the pipeline of bids and providing regular updates on timelines to the Head of Sales.
  • Collaborating across the organization to support Sector leaders based on tender activities, ensuring a unified and consistent bidding approach.
  • Delivering training on bid best practices, processes, structure, and quality.
  • Assisting Business Development with additional activities as needed.
