About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team at Naim Audio. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our audio products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute automated test plans to validate software functionality and identify defects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development and product management, to ensure test plans align with product requirements.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve test efficiency and reduce testing time.
  • Identify and report defects, working with development teams to resolve issues and implement fixes.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python and other relevant technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of testing strategies and methodologies to improve overall software quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve testing capabilities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with automated testing frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems and experience with networking and serial debugging.
