About the Role

Naim Audio is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our audio products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute software test plans to ensure compliance with product specifications.
  • Work closely with the Software Development team to identify and resolve issues.
  • Run and record tests, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Interface with software developers and other teams to resolve issues and improve quality.
  • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge features and platforms, as well as regression work with existing products.
  • Assist the Production team with software releases and requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate software development and regression test times.
  • Support compliance requirements, including working with third-party test houses and compliance hardware/software engineers.
  • Collaborate with Technical Support and Sales teams to resolve software queries and provide training on current and new audio products.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree qualified in an audio or engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years software test experience.
  • Skills: Well-organized, flexible, proactive, excellent communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills, PC literate and numerate, knowledge of Linux operating systems.
