- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating the best prices and terms to ensure the company's procurement needs are met.
- Data Management: Enter and manage data within the company's CRM system, collaborating with the sales team to ensure information is effectively shared and up-to-date.
- Cost Optimisation: Analyze and negotiate rates with transport companies to reduce costs wherever possible, ensuring the company's procurement budget is optimized.
- Relationship Building: Visit suppliers to establish and grow relationships, and attend industry events to source new suppliers and stay informed on market trends.

Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a Buyer/Purchaser role within the FMCG sector or a similar field involving negotiation and relationship-building.
- Skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel & Word, excellent communication skills, and strong time management.
- Desirable Background: Experience in the meat, poultry, or pet food sectors is advantageous but not essential.
