Job Title: Bid and Project Manager

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Bid and Project Manager to join our team in Belfast, UK. As a key member of our Integrated Airspace-protection Systems (IAS) team, you will be responsible for coordinating resources across all functions to deliver competitive campaigns, bids, and products, and ensuring profitable project delivery.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement supply chain architectures to meet the needs of bids and projects
  • Represent IAS UK in discussions with internal stakeholders to ensure acquisition strategies align with business needs
  • Work closely with bid and product development teams to design and deliver supply chain solutions
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and maximize opportunities in the role of intra-group supply chain Risk Manager
About You:
  • Proven experience in Bid and Project Management, with a track record of successful delivery in a similar role
  • Commercially astute with advanced commercial skills and experience, including differing contracting models
  • Broad range of skills focused on needs analysis, design to cost, make-team-buy, technical interface management, acquisition strategy definition, supplier management, risk and opportunity management, subcontract management, and relationship management
  • Leadership, presentation, and communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal skills to optimize cross-functional and cross-organizational working
