Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team, providing general abdominal, pelvic, small parts, lumps and bumps, and vascular ultrasound scanning services. The ideal candidate will have a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC and SOR or RCT, and possess 2 years of post-qualification experience in NHS trust practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality ultrasound scanning services to patients, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Produce accurate clinical reports for each ultrasound scan undertaken.
  • Undertake administrative duties to ensure efficient patient progression and results.
  • Participate in clinical governance, clinical audit, and assessment activities.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise and knowledge.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety, data protection, and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
  • Registration with the HCPC and SOR or RCT.
  • 2 years of post-qualification experience in NHS trust practice.
  • Ability to work proficiently in all main areas of ultrasound practice.
  • Eligibility to reside and work in the UK.
