This includes general practitioners, nursing professionals, therapists, and allied health specialists, among others.
The North West London Primary Care Clinical Lead positions are integral to the Integrated Care System, co-leading the development and enhancement of care pathways in collaboration with clinicians from various sectors. The successful candidate will bring contemporary health insights and strategies that promote care improvements, long-term preventive measures for population health management, and initiatives to address health disparities.

About Us
The NHS North West London Integrated Care Board (NHS NWL ICB) is a statutory entity responsible for planning and distributing health and care resources to enhance the lives of individuals across eight boroughs in North West London.
Our local population is extensive and diverse, with evolving health and care needs. Key Functions
The Clinical Lead will:
- Provide a primary care perspective for the Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) Programme.
- Strategically consider service development needs.
- Deliver system-wide clinical leadership focused on enhancing care quality and minimizing outcome disparities.
- Support the creation of clinical pathways aligned with clinical effectiveness.
- Drive the implementation of clinical pathways and improved outcomes in primary care across North West London.
- Address inequalities and reduce outcome variations across the region.
- Monitor population health to identify needs and develop rapid improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with local clinical leads across boroughs to ensure effective communication and participation.
- Provide clinical advice to support investigations and learning from quality assurance processes.
- Facilitate educational needs by coordinating and delivering training resources.
This role is essential in promoting effective strategies to reduce health inequalities and enhance life expectancy, ensuring timely access to appropriate treatment and supporting recovery and well-being.
