About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled pharmacist to join our Medicines Optimisation Team as a Senior Pharmacist. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop medicines optimisation services in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medicines optimisation strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver medicines optimisation services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the healthcare system to drive change and improve medicines use.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on medicines optimisation to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Degree in Pharmacy and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Post-graduate qualification in clinical/community pharmacy or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Extensive experience of developing and implementing medicines optimisation services in a challenging environment.
  • Experience of negotiating and implementing change in practice.
  • Ability to assimilate, analyse, interpret and present complex financial and clinical data.
  • Ability to work in partnership with lead clinicians and healthcare professionals within and outside the NHS South East London Integrated Care Board.
