About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our CAMHS division, you will be responsible for providing specialist eating disorder services for children and adolescents under 18 years old.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients under 18 years old with eating disorders and co-morbid mental illness in an outpatient setting, adhering to NICE guidance and Trust policies.
  • Develop strong partnerships with other agencies and services, including education, social care, primary care, and voluntary agencies, to support the care of children and adolescents with eating disorders.
  • Contribute to clinical leadership within the Trust, participating in governance structures and working collaboratively with other teams to improve patient outcomes.
