Job Title: IT Application Support Technical Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to provide technical leadership and support for our IT operations teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering IT strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and delivery of best-in-class application solutions for Speedy.
  • Manage the on-premise and cloud application estate and supporting services, including the formulation of strategy and provision of direction.
  • Act as the technical lead for the on-premise and cloud application estate and supporting services, providing technical expertise to the Application Support Team.
  • Ensure the on-premise and cloud application estate and supporting services adhere to expected levels of cyber security.
  • Manage and shape the Application Support Team, defining the support model and operational processes for new services.
  • Provide accurate reporting on the performance of the Application Support team and service provision.
  • Ensure the availability and performance of the on-premise and cloud application estate and supporting services meet business needs.
  • Proactively propose, define, and manage plans to update and upgrade application software and services.
  • Effectively manage the Application Support Team to maximize individual potential.
