Job Title: School Support Mentor

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Support Mentor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a School Support Mentor, you will work closely with students who have autism and social emotional and mental health needs, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with autism and social emotional and mental health needs
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with autism and social emotional and mental health needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting students with special needs
