We are seeking an experienced Internal Controls Manager to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the VP of Finance in enhancing controls and documentation, as well as working with a business going through a listing and IPO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee internal governance mechanisms and frameworks.
  • Conduct risk assessments.
  • Conduct audits and reviews of internal control processes to evaluate control effectiveness and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Prepare reports on control effectiveness for senior management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on internal controls design and testing.
  • Provide cover for month end consolidation and financial reporting of the Group.
  • Proactively support finance colleagues and work closely with all Regional and Divisional teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and professional qualification (ACA or ACCA preferred), with more than two years of post-qualification experience in finance or internal controls.
  • Good understanding of internal controls, both financial and non-financial.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and key accounting/financial/operational principles.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • High level of commercial acumen.
