Rettie and Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our Lettings and Management team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties on behalf of our clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and maximizing fee income.
Key Responsibilities- Driving Portfolio Performance - Continuously improve the performance of assets within your portfolio, retaining clients, and promoting portfolio growth.
- Ensuring Compliance - Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory standards, minimizing void periods, increasing rents mid-tenancy, minimizing arrears, and promoting investment and upgrading works.
- Managing Administration - Full responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the lettings and management process across your portfolio, including compliance management, client information collection, property marketing, tenant referencing, and maintenance requests.
- Essential - Full, clean driving license, working towards MARLA, detailed knowledge of the PRS, PRT legislation, and the Edinburgh lettings market, proficient in IT systems, experience in client relationship management, and conflict resolution.
- Desirable - Previous management of a residential property portfolio, use of REAPIT or property software, ability to analyze performance and produce investment appraisals, and MARLA qualified.
