Job Title: Deputy Team Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Team Manager to join our team at NonStop Consulting. As a Deputy Team Manager, you will play a key role in leading and supervising a team of Social Workers, ensuring the provision of high-quality services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of Social Workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Manage a small caseload of complex and challenging cases, including those involving Child Protection plans, Looked After children, and contested court proceedings.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve practice and outcomes for children and families.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure the provision of comprehensive services to children and families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory duties and local policies.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Social Work Qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
  • Have experience of working in a children's social work setting, including supervising staff and managing complex cases.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and professionals.
  • Have a strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures, including the ability to manage complex and challenging cases.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
