Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled General Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care to patients in care homes on a temporary or locum basis. As a GP for GPDQ, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers healthcare services nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations with patients to assess their medical needs, diagnose conditions, and provide appropriate treatment or referrals.
  • Evaluate and manage a broad spectrum of health conditions, including same-day acute conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with care home staff to ensure seamless delivery of healthcare services.
  • Provide health assessments and develop care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical guidelines and best practices to deliver exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Practitioner, with a focus on health assessments.
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
