Our Entertainment Team

The Entertainment team at Burson EMEA was formed in 2020 and has been growing rapidly since. It is now made up of 25 sector specialists who live and breathe gaming, esports, music, and film. We are home to some of the world's best-loved entertainment brands, including Activision Blizzard, Spotify, Meta Reality Labs, LG, and Bose.

Your Role as a Burson EMEA Professional

We are building a vibrant and diverse team that delivers incredible work for amazing brands at the forefront of the entertainment space. As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Monitor the entertainment sector and client news for relevant updates and share them with account teams and clients, providing a point of view on which media are covering our clients favorably and future opportunities.
  • Support account teams in the delivery of events and campaigns, with input into logistics, media, and influencer engagement, written materials, and plans.
  • Keep media and influencer target lists up to date, maintaining excellent knowledge of the landscape and seeking out meetings with appropriate titles and management companies to discuss our clients.
  • Write media pitches for new stories and identify appropriate journalists to share and collaborate with.
  • Draft campaign updates and share them with clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Update reports and trackers with high attention to detail to keep clients updated on campaign success and performance.

  • A passion for the entertainment industry, both its products and as a business.
  • An understanding of media and enthusiasm for media relations.
  • An interest in influencer marketing and all things social media.
  • Great team player skills, positively contributing to sector culture and connectivity.
  • Presentation skills – both verbal and written.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • First-class account administration and a strong eye for detail.

Our London Office

Burson EMEA employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socializing with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo's.
