We are seeking an experienced Estimator - Commercial Construction Specialist to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our construction estimating processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct preliminary reviews of legal documents, including tenders, contracts, and agreements.
- Identify project characteristics, benefits, and areas of risk at an early stage.
- Negotiate with clients to achieve optimal conversion rates and strive to achieve desired financial margins.
- Obtain and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costings and ensure administrative tasks are completed and record-keeping is up-to-date.
- Collaborate with management to ensure efficient and effective execution of each project.
- Liaise with managers to establish norms for implementation to estimates to target accuracy and increase speed of estimate turnaround.
- Liaise with managers to establish quality standards to align with customer expectations.
- Develop and implement cost estimating tools, templates, and databases.
- Integrate with Clarity (CRM) software.
- Evaluate enquiries and allocate an appropriate amount of time and accuracy to the quote/estimate considering suitability, enquiry type, terms, contract, and probability of award.
**Requirements**
- IT literate (MS Office).
- Offer an honest and flexible approach.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
