Primary School EYFS Teaching Assistant Role

Ribbons & Reeves, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a 'Good' Primary School in Barking and Dagenham. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Class Teacher in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children aged 3-5.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Class Teacher in planning and implementing engaging learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of EYFS children.
  • Supervise and lead small groups of children, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and other support staff to implement policies and practices that align with the school's ethos.
  • Support children with additional learning needs, providing tailored support to ensure their inclusion and progress.
  • Contribute to the development of a creative and inclusive curriculum that values learning and promotes a love of education.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology or Education from a top UK university.
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in an EYFS or Primary School setting.
  • A confident and bubbly personality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Aspiring EYFS or Primary Teachers are encouraged to apply.
