Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Wayman Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant mainstream school in Barking and Dagenham. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality teaching support across various year groups, contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.

About the School

Our client is a well-established, mixed school rated GOOD by Ofsted, serving children aged 4 to 11 years old. The school is easily accessible with good transport links, and the supportive and inclusive atmosphere fostered by strong student-teacher relationships is a key strength.

Key Responsibilities

The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting teachers in the classroom, providing individualized support to students, and contributing to the development of a positive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development, as well as a clear DBS check and legal right to work in the UK.

Requirements

The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, and a Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and supporting their growth and development, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
