About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Scheduler to join our team at INEOS Grangemouth. As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our refinery and petrochemicals centre of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule maintenance work for a rolling 3-month window, ensuring that all necessary resources are allocated and that work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term maintenance plans, taking into account the needs of the business and the availability of resources.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with maintenance activities, ensuring that all necessary safety protocols are in place.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all necessary work is completed, including third-party contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Education to HND/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with a time-served maintenance background.
  • Proven experience in maintenance work pack preparation, maintenance engineering, facilities management, or project engineering in a petrochemical or related industry.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including MS Office and scheduling tools such as Primavera.
  • Knowledge of heavy industry equipment, including pumps, compressors, motors, instrumentation, piping, vessels, valves, hoses, and tanks.
  • Knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, ATEX, and DSEAR requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple work packages simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
