We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing clinical input and leadership across the Fylde Coast adult community and urgent care pathway.
About the RoleThis is a great opportunity to develop your therapeutic skills in Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Compassion Focused Therapy. You will work closely with a Principal Clinical Psychologist to provide joint clinical leadership and supervision to the Senior Clinical Psychologists, Senior CBT Therapist/EMDR Consultant, Assistant Clinical Psychologist, and Trainee Clinical Psychologist(s) working within the teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical input and leadership across the Fylde Coast adult community and urgent care pathway.
- Develop and implement therapeutic programs and interventions.
- Supervise and support junior staff members.
- Contribute to the development of the psychology service.
We are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent. You will have a strong understanding of legislation and its implications in relation to the client group and mental health. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
