Position Overview:
The primary objective of this role is to oversee and enhance the delivery of exceptional aftersales support to a diverse range of Bamford Bus Company Limited clients, playing a crucial role in establishing the company as the preferred provider through superior service.
In light of the recent advancements in Hydrogen and zero-emission Electric vehicles by the organization, we are eager to welcome a motivated individual who is enthusiastic about training on the latest generation of sustainable transport solutions.
This apprenticeship will offer a thorough education focused on zero-emission product support across Northern England, with a requirement to attend college on a weekly block schedule to achieve the necessary qualifications throughout the apprenticeship duration.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing professional relationships with colleagues.
Assist in diagnosing the root cause of failures and ensure effective communication of details back to the Bamford Bus Company Limited All Service Team, both verbally and in written reports as part of their development pathway.
Collaborate with Mobile Support Engineers to foster a team-oriented environment that promotes best practices for All Service.Assist in estimating retail repairs and relay the information back to the Bamford Bus Company Limited All Service Team.
Support in diagnosing both mechanical and electrical issues using industry-standard diagnostic tools and Bamford technical manuals.
Provide on-site technical assistance to our clients, ensuring that all technical challenges are addressed promptly and professionally in conjunction with the Mobile Support Engineer team.
Assist in executing warranty and campaign repairs according to Bamford work instruction documents.Ensure all warranty return components are accurately labeled and returned to the Bamford Bus Company Limited All Service Team regularly.
Work alongside the ASO Mobile Support Engineer team to ensure repairs and campaigns are completed efficiently and professionally.
Proactively promote and sell services and parts to clients.
Ensure that a professional, high-quality, and efficient service is consistently delivered to our clients.
Ensure that tools and company equipment are managed, calibrated (if necessary), and available for routine audits.
Participate in training as required, including attending college and periodic factory training.
Travel and work at various client locations as needed.
Maintain company vehicles to a high standard to comply with both organizational and legal requirements.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly to meet company standards.
Be available to work weekend shifts or alternative schedules as required in collaboration with an ASO Mobile Support Engineer.
Always adhere to health and safety protocols and comply with company and client policies while being mindful of surroundings and local engineering standards.
Perform any other duties that contribute to the effective operation of the role.Ensure all academic program requirements are fulfilled within established guidelines.
General:
Conduct all duties in accordance with General Data Protection regulations and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Ensure work meets the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
