As a Shared Lives carer, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life while also gaining a sense of fulfillment and purpose.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and care to individuals with physical or sensory impairments, adults with learning disabilities, older people, and those experiencing mental health issues.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Help individuals to maintain their independence and engage in activities they enjoy.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individuals in your care.
- Be over 18 years old.
- Have a spare bedroom in your home.
- Be willing to attend a detailed training programme.
- Pass a DBS check and other necessary background checks.
As a Shared Lives carer, you will receive:
- A competitive hourly rate or fee for the type of support you provide.
- Ongoing training and support to help you develop your skills and confidence.
- The opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life and gain a sense of fulfillment and purpose.
