Support Workers are required to work with individuals who require assistance with daily living tasks. The role involves providing support and care to enable individuals to live independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 27.5 hours of support per week, split between 2 or 3 staff members. The hourly rate is £11.44. The role includes working alternate weekends, with a 2-week rolling rota. The successful candidate will be required to work 1 hour morning calls, 2 hour tea calls, and 30 minute bed calls, 7 days a week. Additionally, the role includes 1 hour of domestic support and 2 hours of social interaction per week. The post includes 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro-rata). An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required, but this will be paid for by the local authority.
