About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Lecturer to join our team. As a Construction Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to learners of all ages and backgrounds, in different disciplines and levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver lectures and tutorials to students in construction-related subjects
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials and assessments
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, PGCE, certificate in education)
  • Assessors' qualification (e.g. A1, D33/D34, CAVA, TAQA, IQA)
  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in teaching subject area
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior
  • Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
