About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Investment Manager to join our team. As an Investment Manager, you will be responsible for building and developing trusted relationships with current and potential clients. You will provide personalized investment advice and portfolio management, ensuring that investment portfolios are managed in line with our investment philosophies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and risk tolerance.
- Provide expert investment advice and portfolio management, ensuring alignment with our investment philosophies and processes.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Participate in regular meetings and contribute to the development of investment strategies and solutions.
- Lead pitches and presentations to clients, showcasing our expertise and services.
- Ensure comprehensive client records are maintained, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Continuously develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills, staying ahead of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in investment management and portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry and investment markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Experience in leading pitches and winning new business.
- Ability to work within a risk management framework, understanding the risks and threats associated with private client businesses.
