Are you passionate about advancing clean energy solutions? ib vogt, a global leader in the development of solar PV and battery storage projects, is seeking a highly skilled EPC Development Manager to drive the development of large-scale solar PV projects to meet the global demand for sustainable electricity.

Job Summary

The EPC Development Manager will be responsible for managing upcoming EPC projects in key markets such as the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands. This role requires strong project management skills, technical knowledge of solar photovoltaics, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage EPC projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project teams to ensure readiness for the EPC phase of projects, including conducting due diligence on project development packages and identifying potential risks.
  • Contract Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define project scope, schedule, and budget, and support legal and contract teams during negotiations and preparation of contracts.
  • Tender Management: Run EPC and O&M tenders for benchmarking and decision-making, and assist in the selection of EPC and O&M setup options.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with internal and external teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Academic background in Engineering or Business with at least three years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, technical understanding of solar photovoltaics and project procurement processes, proficiency in Data Analytics, MS Office 365, and related IT applications.
  • Language: Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed.
