**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced EPC Director to lead our global solar and energy storage development portfolio. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and leadership for all EPC activities, overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for all EPC activities
  • Oversee cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction
  • Collaborate with senior management to align EPC operations with company goals and objectives
  • Lead the full lifecycle of solar PV and energy storage projects from initial design through commissioning
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks
  • Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and key milestones to stakeholders
  • Oversee the design and engineering phases of solar PV and energy storage projects
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
  • Provide technical leadership and ensure the integration of best practices in solar system design
  • Lead the procurement process for materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Lead negotiations and manage contracts with suppliers and service providers
  • Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure materials and equipment meet required specifications
  • Direct on-site construction activities, ensuring work is carried out according to plans, within budget, and meeting quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all projects
  • Lead the commissioning process and ensure that all systems are operational and meet performance expectations

Requirements

  • Degree educated within engineering or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience and a proven track record as a Senior EPC professional within an international renewable asset development company
  • Proven experience in building, developing, and leading best-in-class teams globally
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with attention to detail and ability to drive best business outcomes
  • Adept at contract review and term sheet analysis
  • Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills, comfortable operating within senior leadership groups
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to nurture lasting relationships
  • Adaptable, problem-solver with a creative mindset when navigating complex contract negotiations
