We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled EPC Director to lead our renewable energy projects globally. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for all EPC activities, overseeing cross-functional teams, and collaborating with senior management to align EPC operations with company goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the full lifecycle of solar PV and BESS projects from initial design through commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery and meeting performance targets.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks related to schedule, budget, or technical challenges.
- Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and key milestones to stakeholders.
- Oversee the design and engineering phases of solar PV and BESS projects, ensuring all technical specifications meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership and ensure the integration of best practices in solar system design.
- Lead the procurement process for materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery.
- Direct on-site construction activities, ensuring work is carried out according to plans, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on all projects.
- Lead the commissioning process and ensure that all systems are operational and meet performance expectations.
- Degree educated within engineering or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience and a proven track record as a Senior EPC professional within an international renewable asset development company (preference for Solar & BESS).
- Proven experience in building, developing and leading best in class teams globally.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with attention to detail and ability to drive best business outcomes.
- Adept at contract review and term sheet analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills, comfortable operating within senior leadership groups.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to nurture lasting relationships.
- Adaptable, problem-solver with a creative mindset when navigating complex contract negotiations.
