Service Designer

We are seeking a skilled Service Designer to join our team at Stealth iT Consulting. As a Service Designer, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the value we deliver for our clients through the end-to-end service design process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients through the service design process to design and develop innovative products and services.
  • Champion user-centricity and embed design thinking/user-centricity in our work.
  • Work on new ideas and collaborate with solution teams to design and develop innovative products and services.
  • Use current and emerging trends to identify and lead improvements to existing services and introduce innovative and industry-first service experiences.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sprints, ideation sessions, and other activities to drive service design.
  • Develop and translate user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet user needs.
  • Work in agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including user researchers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, product owners, delivery managers, and developers.
  • Manage stakeholders and balance competing views as part of the design process.
  • Advocate for user-centricity and engage in meaningful interactions and relationships with users.
  • Apply GDS design principles and work with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working across a service design process, autonomously with minimal support.
  • Ability to create service design artefacts and outputs, such as current and future-state user journeys, personas, service concepts, service blueprints, and other artefacts.
  • Client readiness and experience facilitating workshops, design sprints, ideation sessions, or similar.
  • Strong understanding and experience of working in agile (scrum) environments in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to balance competing views as part of the design process.
  • Aptitude for being an advocate for user-centricity and ability to develop and translate user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet user needs.
  • Experience working in sectors that operate in complex regulatory environments (e.g., healthcare or public sector) or performing a consulting function to private sector clients.
  • Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards, applying GDS design principles.
  • Certification and/or qualifications in Service Design or Design Thinking.
