About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Overhaul and Repair team at Clarke Energy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overhaul and repair of our fleet of Jenbacher gas engines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in major overhauls on medium speed diesel or gas engines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and ensuring the safety of yourself and others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overhaul and repair Jenbacher gas engines in accordance with schedules and requirements
  • Identify and report any faults found during the overhaul of the engines
  • Request parts from stock as necessary
  • Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Supervise semi-skilled staff and apprentices involved with the overhauls and repairs
  • Follow and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and regulations at all times
Requirements
  • Time served mechanical engineer or extensive Jenbacher and/or gas engine experience
  • Experience of major overhauls on medium speed diesel or gas engines
  • Full driving license
